MariamMariam Chughtai has a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) from Harvard University specializing in Education Policy, Leadership and Instructional Practice. She is the founder of the Harvard Pakistan Student Group (HPSG), the first university-wide student organization recognized by Harvard University. Having taught various courses at Harvard, she is now based in Pakistan, working as Director Pakistan Programs for Harvard University South Asia Institute and as Associate Director, School of Education Project at Lahore University of Management Sciences.

delAisha Sarwari is a graduate in Media from San Jose State University, California, USA where she was a Dean’s scholar.She has a 12 year experience ranging from the private sector to the government sector in the US and Pakistan. Her projects include the USAID’s Competitive Support Fund, USAID’s Agribusiness Project and the USAID Training for Pakistan Project. Her columns on women issues have featured in publications both locally and internationally.

Focusing on social welfare and philanthropy, she is the co-founder of various innovative projects that support the causes of education, relief aid, art and culture and women empowerment. Her projects include The Fundraisers Bargain Basement Sale,Rising Stars Foundation,Labour & Love and Khayaal Creative Network.

Amber Shamsi is an award-winning bilingual correspondent with the BBC World Service, based in Islamabad. Masters in Mass Communication, Amber began her career as an intern for a news magazine and went on to become a multi-media journalist, working for daily newspapers, weekly and monthly news magazines, television, online publications, and radio. Mother of two, Amber is a true inspiration for those who struggle to balance work and home.


Ayesha Hussain is the founder and president of Khayaal Creative Network, a society that promotes arts and literature in Pakistan while bringing together people from all walks of life across national boundaries.She has represented Pakistan at the International Literature Showcase held in Norwich in March 2015. Her contribution in the field of education spans over 17 years.

delAnum Nawaz, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology has been engaged in youth development and empowerment since 2010. Currently working as Manager Academics and Assessment at Rabtt, she is diligent in instilling empathy, creativity and self-confidence among adolescents through various academic programs.She has been involved with organizations like YES Network Pakistan, British Council and Catholic Board of Education.
delNighat Dad is a lawyer and founder of The Digital Rights Foundation Pakistan, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on Information and Communication Technology to support human rights, democratic processes and digital governance in Pakistan. She has been recognized as TIME Magazine’s next generation of leaders for helping women in Pakistan fight online harassment.
