The SEPLAA Foundation under it’s Umeed Jawan project, visited the Women University in Bahawalpur and met with the Principal and senior staff to brief them about the importance of promoting social entrepreneurship amongst young women in Bahawalpur.
The event was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by introductory words from faculty and students. Mrs. Ammara Farooq Malik spoke to the large audience of female students and told them about the present Umeed Jawan project being implemented by SEPLAA Foundation in South Punjab.
The students formed a large group of over 300 students and were very enthusiastic about learning more about the iCx SEPLAA Induction Cycles presently running in Bahawalpur.
The SEPLAA Foundation is the first organization in Pakistan trying to create an environment conducive for youth to create social enterprises for the specific purpose of building upon existing peace.
Later the Women University Principal Mrs. Salma Khan thanked the SEPLAA Foundation team and invited them to tea.
